Diff oil can be anything from basic LS90 thru to 80w90 & right upto 85w140. As you only need 1L then there's no need to go budget. Use fully synthetic.
Gear box oil is a subject of quiet some discussion. You need to be very careful what you use. Toyota recommend not running anything higher than a GL4 75w90. I've done quiet a bit of research into this & the only oils that meet this spec are Redline MT-90, Amsoil MTG & TRD 75w90. (You can run an SAE80 if you're on a budget).
According to the oil man at opie oils you can run a GL4/5 is also alright to use. This is different to a straight GL5 oil. It is GL4 oil that meet GL5 pressure tests/specs without the additives. That would open your options up to a few more oils like Fuchs, Motul & Castrol. Just check what additives it has in it before using it.
