verkeerde DVD

Hallo Allemaal,

Ik heb een probleem waar ik wel wat hulp bij kan gebruiken. We hebben net de IS200 ingeruild voor een IS300 Sportcross. Ze zijn van hetzelfde bouwjaar, nu had ik voor de IS200 vorig jaar nieuwe navigatie DVD's gekocht en dacht deze even over te zetten.....fout, de comuter kon geen route vinden, oude dvd terug gezet en wat blijkt, die kan ook ineens geen route meer vinden. Ook de IS 200 had dit probleem na de wissel. Schijnen er verschillende merken computers door elkaar gemaakt te worden, die lezen dus elkaars DVD's niet. De computers zijn dus duidelijk van slag. Weet iemand een simpele manier om de computer te resetten zodat hij weer zijn eigen software inleest? Ik hoor het graag.

Hallo,

Even een aanvulling, hij zegt niet dat hij geen route kan vinden maar als je de DVD laadt dan staat er in het beginscherm niets onder land (staat normaal een kaart van europa), voor de rest doet hij alles zoals voorheen. Ik hoop dat het ??n van jullie iets zegt.

Deze werkte dus wel in de IS200.

Om te resetten kwam ik het volgende tegen:

1.
Set the hand brake, remove the key from the ignition switch, and open the hood.

2.
Disconnect the negative battery lead from the battery terminal using the adjustable wrench. This will prevent any possibility of shock or shorting during the project.

3.
Remove everything from the trunk including any protective mats lining the bottom of the trunk and leave the trunk open.

Resetting the Navigation System

Lift up the panel in the trunk that covers your spare tire.

5.
Locate a square metallic box on the right side of the trunk. Use the screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the box in place.

6.
Unplug the all of the wires connected to the box. Remembering where each wire is connected to the box is unimportant. Each of the wires is designed to plug into only one slot. Remove the box from the back of the car once all the wires are disconnected.

7.
Unscrew the eight screws that hold the boxes rear panel in place to reveal two electronics boards.

8.
Disconnect the left electronics board and flip it over so you can see where the two ribbon cables connect.

9.
Disengage the two brown colored clamps that hold the ribbon wire in place on either side of the electronics board using your fingers. Disconnect the ribbon wires. Let the apparatus sit disconnected for one minute while the the computer resets.

10.
Reassemble the navigation system following the steps given in reverse order.

Turn on the vehicle and test to make sure the system is working properly. Follow the directions on the screen.

Mocht dit werken, zou je dan wat foto's van het proces willen plaatsen?

Dat is best ingrijpend om even een computer te resetten. Ik ga morgen eerst eens met Lexus bellen kijken wat zij zeggen, als dit de oplossing is zal ik er zeker een "how to" van maken. Alvast bedankt voor het meedenken.

Is ook weer opgelost en zo simpel. Eerst op Lexus mapupdates een vervangende dvd opgevraagd zowel van de oude als de nieuwe dvd. Daar kwam dezelfde vervanger uit, wat dus betekende dat de computer in de sportcross en de IS200 delfde waren. Dus de dvd eruit gehaald, minpool van de accu los, 10 minuten later weer aangesloten op verzoek van het systeem een dvd geladen (de nieuwe) en ja hoor gewoon werken.
