En verder wat maakt het uit dat iemand uit het buitenland hier engels in zijn topic praat? Bijna iedereen kan toch engels? En trouwens het is toch juist iets positiefs dat zelfs mensen buiten nederland op dit forum komen? Hoe meer bekendheid hoe beter zou ik denken.
Ik zie het juist als een eer dat zelfs mensen van buiten nederland de moeite nemen om hier een project te posten. Het is nog interessant om te lezen ook.
Hij bied zelfs nog gratis onderdelen aan

Crank Case Vent Vacuum Pump/Filter.

Plumbing took allot of time to design as I wanted the intake manifold to come out easily

Installed Short Shifter (E60 545)

I Finally installed the new spark plugs today.
The car idles and drives much smoother and I have full power again.
The old plugs were super done as the gaps were almost double spec:

#1 1.9mm
#2 2.0mm
#3 1.9mm
#4 1.7mm
#5 1.8mm
#6 1.7mm

They should be 1.1mm :grin:

I highly recommend to anyone that hasn't changed the original plugs to do so as the motor really came alive after the swap.

Indeed finally or maybe just in time Those are some gaps... By heart I can remember they advice to replace every six years or every 90.000 km, whatever comes first.

I am very impressed that the car idled and ran like normal with such large gaps...go Lexus.
There was definitely a noticeable power gain from swapping the bougies.

I have two new leftover spark plugs from this swap as they come in packs of 4.
If anyone would like them they would be free and you would only need to buy one 4 pack to do the 6 cylinder motor.

Het valt mij op dat er zo'n verschil zit tussen de twee meet momenten.
Horen de bougies allemaal identiek te zijn of verschilt dat per cilinder ?
Je BMW topic heb ik inmiddels bekeken leuk hoor

I'm glad you liked the bmw build....I will be pulling it apart again this winter to prep it for FI.

Just to Clarify:
Denso gapped a new set of plugs to achieve the best burn out of each individual unit (manufacturing tolerances and factory gaps aren't always perfect)

#1 1.07mm
#2 1.07mm
#3 1.08mm
#4 1.09mm
#5 1.07mm
#6 1.09mm

The plugs I pulled out of the car had 157,xxx km's on them and the iridium electrode had worn down so much that the gaps were almost double the oem spec:

#1 1.9mm
#2 2.0mm
#3 1.9mm
#4 1.7mm
#5 1.8mm
#6 1.7mm

and good to see you replaced the plugs on the lexus. Pretty big gaps between them

Thanks man, the motor runs much smoother now.
Still need to make some time to do the front end bushings as they are all starting to fail and feel loose.
